Jackie was kind, helpful, and quick at responding to any questions or concerns! The house has so much character and charm and it’s obvious that Jackie put a lot of love into making it that way! My kids loved the schoolhouse feel and enjoyed running in the meadow behind the house. It’s located in the perfect spot with Lake Otisco just down the street! We plan on staying at Jackie’s old fashioned schoolhouse again next year.

Living room was well configured for the 7 of us -seats we very confy. Loved the covered firepit and grilling area. Had lots of intermittent rain and still used it every night!

Nice little studio. The backyard was perfect for our dog to run outside up and down the giant hill. Great private location. Jackie was very helpful and very friendly. We had a great time and would definitely stay again.

The home is quaint and very well maintained. It had a very homey feel with all the cute decor. Jackie left us a lovely welcome note and a bottle of wine! She was responsive to any questions we had - a beautiful place to stay!!!

This was such an amazing stay! It was the perfect setting to reunite a bunch of friends who went to school online together. We got to do graduation on campus, and then have a cozy place to come home to and spend time together. The fire pit was perfect, grill was nice and clean, and the house was well stocked over all! The owners even came over to turn on the patio string lights for us. Otherwise, we never even had to reach out because everything we needed was right there. The beds were so comfortable and the sheets were divine. This was the most perfect weekend, and we were so glad to spend it at your place!

We were a group of five we three dogs and had a fantastic stay. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. Something I didn’t realize from the listing is that there is a second living area/breakfast nook, which is a nice bonus for a larger crowd or a group with kids. Jackie was communicative and helpful, check in/out was a breeze, and the fireplace and comfy furnishings made the house so cozy. Our group has already talked about booking again in the future!

This little schoolhouse was wonderful for our weekend getaway! The house is full of character and super cozy! The hill out back is perfect for sledding (and skiing down!) during the winter months and the rest of the property is just gorgeous. Amazing lakeside manor that reminded me of my youth. Nested in Otisco Valley is this gem that just allows you to forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We will be coming back again.

We stayed at Jackie and Joe's place over Christmas and it was FANTASTIC! Jackie decorated the house inside and out! The night we checked in, it was snowing and as we pulled into the driveway, we saw that they had put a candle and wreath in each window, and holiday lights on the front porch. It was freezing outside but the house was so warm and inviting! The Christmas tree was set up so all we needed to do was place our presents under the tree. During our stay, we played board games, made Christmas cookies, and went over the enjoy the Dicken's Christmas in Skaneateles. Jackie and Joe were super responsive. Honestly, just a text or call away. Thank you so much Jackie and Joe! You made our family Christmas one to remember! xoxo Chris and Family

My family and I came to Marietta to enjoy some nearby fall activities. This home was the perfect place for us to stay. From the beautiful surroundings, to the clean and spacious home, to our responsive hosts welcome us with a personalized thank you card and sign, it all added up to the perfect weekend.
